Throw-back Thursday at Maple Leaf #TBT

Instead of adhering to the norm, Maple Leaf’s Student Council decided to start Spirit Week on a Thursday. Sprit Week will include a series of dress downs for 5 days with each day having a different theme. Today, Thursday April 22nd, was Throwback Thursday. Many students came dressed down in classic 90s, 80s, and even 70s wear. The school was a flood of neon and bold prints. In addition, some students “threw back” even farther and dressed down in signature looks from the 1900-1920 era.
The student body certainly dazzled everyone today and the outfits that will come out of the other days are certainly something to look forward to.
As a sneak peek, the upcoming themes for the remainder of Spirit Week include Film Friday, Mismatch Monday, Twin Tuesday, and Western Wednesday.
