First Aid Training
On Saturday, May 23rd, ten high school students received training in basic First Aid and CPR. They demonstrated skills necessary to rescue adults, children or infants who were choking or needed CPR. They practiced techniques for immobilizing broken arms, bandaging heads, and placing people in the recovery position. They learned about the signs, symptoms and treatment for strokes, heart attacks, allergic reactions, seizures, abdominal injuries, burns, heat stroke, poisoning, and shock.
