Well done Suryaa!
Suryaa Maharaj, a Grade 10 student, took part in the recent Republic Bank Pan Minors Music Literacy Scholarship Programme. Each year, over 120 students (10 – 17 years old) from elementary and secondary schools in Trinidad and Tobago participate in a three-week intensive programme – Theory/Aural and Sight Reading on Pan. It was held at the Creative Arts Centre UWI and ran from July 11th and ended with graduation on August 5th.
Suryaa graduated from the programme with a Distinction and was awarded Top Performer status for which she received a Right Start Account from Republic Bank. Congratulations and well done Suryaa!
