Model UN Club in Montreal
There are 11 delegates from Maple Leaf International School who are at the moment gearing up for the Secondary Schools’ United Nations Symposium (SSUNS) 2016 in Montreal, Quebec. This symposium runs from November 10 – 13 and takes the format of a Model United Nations conference which gives high school students the opportunity to explore the scope of global issues around them while affording them the opportunity to take an active part in these issues as young leaders.
Those students are Matthew de la Bastide, Timothy Brooks, Abigail Dingwall, Daniel Gay, Maya Hart, Suryaa Maharaj, Dylan Pitcher, Matthew Teelucksingh, Amy Thomson, Jordan Thomson and Kevin Wharfe.
