Maple Leaf competes in Triathlon
Maple Leaf took part in the Trinidad and Tobago Triathlon Federation Secondary and Primary Schools triathlon event on May 13th and 14th at the Aquatic Centre in Couva.
The Secondary Schools Triathlon took place on the Saturday where Jonathan Thompson and Mila Carter raced hard in the 16 and Over group and did us proud. Congratulations to Jono for placing second in the boys and to Mila for placing 4th in the girls! This was Mila’s first triathlon. Well done!!
Our Primary team was represented by Fionnuala Mike, Charles Bell and Zachary Mahadeo in the 12 to 13 Group; Alec Mendes, Ivy Bradford and Elizabeth Taylor in the 10-11 group; and Stuart Bell in the 8-9 group. They raced their hearts out and all completed the race which was an achievement in itself.
