The Maple Leaf International School Pan Ensemble left for Toronto, Canada on May 26th. On Saturday, May 23rd, ten high school students received training in basic First Aid and CPR. They demonstrated skills necessary to rescue adults, children or infants who were choking or needed CPR. On Friday, May 15th, The school had a dress down against bullying. The purpose of the event was to increase awareness about bullying and promote kindness. Students wore blue and pink, which are the anti-bullying colours. The school raised $950 for the Hope Shelter for Battered Women in Chaguanas.

On Wednesday 13th May the Grade 11 art students went to Seerique in Chaguaramas to create their own personal interpretation of a clay house. Students got their hands dirty they as they learned to mould the walls and roof of their house and add details to give it style and realism.
